The results of the studies conducted by Center for Disease Control and Prevention showed that the rate of increase in the number of obese people in United States is very alarming. According to statistical reports, 17 percent of children between 2-years-old to 19-years-old are obese and it is 33.8 percent when it comes to adults.

Obesity is also one of the major causes of fatal diseases in America since it can lead to heart failure, diabetes, and stroke.  Furthermore, United States is not the only country who is suffering from obesity; the whole world is suffering from it.

The rapid increase of the number of people who are getting fat and obese also triggered the emergence of various weight loss products that will help people to reduce their weight.  Every time you turn on the TV, read the newspapers, listen to the radio, or browse the internet you will see ads of weight loss products claiming that you will lose weight instantly.

However, the majority of those products are not as effective as the advertisement claims.  More often than not, weight loss products such as diet pills cause side effects and sometimes it contains ingredients that are hazardous to your health. For this reason, you need to be very careful when planning to purchase a weight loss product for yourself.

If you are looking for the safest weight loss product that is available in the stores today, then maybe somebody told you that green coffee is the best one for you.  It may sound strange, but can you really lose weight by drinking coffee?  The short answer for that is yes.

Green coffee contains ingredients that are vital for losing weight. The first component that can be found in green coffee products is Irvingia gabonensis that is also known as the African Mango. This ingredient stimulates your liver which enables it to synthesize C-Reactive proteins (CRP) in.  The leptin hormone in your body is the one that regulates your appetite and controls your energy intake as well as expenditure.

However, when CRP binds with leptin, the latter becomes ineffective.  As a result, your appetite will increase causing you to eat a lot of food and take more calories than what your body can consume. Excess calories that are not consumed by the body is converted into fat and stored in your adipose tissues. If this continues to happen and more fat is stored, bulges will start to appear in your body.

On the other hand, African mango that is present in green coffee products can slow down the production of CRP and will encourage your body to produce more adiponectin hormone. This hormone is known to enhance the sensitivity of cells to insulin and therefore increases your metabolic rate.

Apart from African Mango green coffee is packed with natural herbs and herbal extracts that can burn calories and improve your body metabolism. So, if you are planning to lose your weight, it is advisable for you to include green coffee to your daily diet.
