This is just like the small black piece of tape over your check engine light.
Eventually, your body builds up a tolerance to the drug and your symptoms return. What’s worse, the drug you’re taking usually comes with a few side effects. These cause more symptoms you’ll need more drugs to counteract. You’re not actually solving any of your health problems this way.
You are synthetically suppressing your body’s natural warning mechanism and setting yourself up for worsening health problems down the line.

I’m not saying conventional medicine is all bad. Not at all. In emergency cases, where you need to be stabilized and your life depends on it, you need conventional medicine. No amount of herbs is going to re-attach a leg after a horrific car accident, after all.

A holistic practitioner will advise dietary and lifestyle changes, a healthy exercise program, and herbs and supplements to boost your body’s natural ability to heal. There is no symptom suppression in holistic medicine unless it’s critical to stabilizing your condition.
What are symptoms? They are your body’s warning signs that something is wrong. That headache, indigestion, or back problem is telling you that you’re allergic to something in your environment or your stress levels are too high.
